Airport Arrivals:
Welcome to the Islands, mon!!
Once everyone in your group has gotten their luggage, proceed outside to the taxi area/dispatcher.
Taxi’s will be lined up outside waiting.
We will be watching your flight for any delays, etc.
Inform the taxi to take you to either the Red Hook Ferry or the Crown Bay Ferry. Crown Bay Ferry is only 5 minutes from the airport, so take this one if possible, but you must land before 2:15pm, since the last ferry leaves at 3pm.

Either way, you’ve made it, now relax! If you miss one ferry, the next one is not far behind.
Crown Bay Ferry Note: If you plan to take the last Crown Bay ferry of the day (3pm), make sure you call them when you land to make sure they haven’t cancelled it. Sometimes they cancel the last one of the day. In that case, you will just taxi to the Red Hook Ferry.
However, if you buy the Crown Bay ferry tickets ahead of time, they’ll actually have your cell number and call and let you know if there are any changes. They called us once when we were running late rushing from the airport and actually waited for us. 😍
It usually takes about 20 minutes to retrieve luggage, then taxi’s will be waiting outside. The Crown Bay ferry dock is only 5 minutes away from the airport via taxi.
For you fancy people, there is also the option of booking a private water taxi. They’ll pick you up directly from the airport and take you over to St. John by private boat. However, both ferries are simple, fun and inexpensive.

ARRIVING ON ST. JOHN ISLAND
Upon your arrival to the island, your party can hop into one of the open-aired taxis to take up to the house. These taxis will be lined up waiting for you as you walk off the ferry. Put your hand up and inform how many people you have and that you need a taxi to
“Chocolate Hole off Rock Ridge.”
Tell the taxi to take the first left after the Westin onto Rock Ridge Rd, then the first right on Travelers Trail. ARRIVED.
Directions:
6 minutes from the ferry.
From the ferry dock drive southeast.
At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto Rte 104
Make the first left past the Westin (at the top of the hill) onto Rock Ridge.
Slight right onto Ridge Rd.
Right on Travelers Trail. ARRIVED!
On The Rocks is the second house on the right.
If you arrive to the island early and the house isn't ready yet, take the opportunity to enjoy a cold drink and a quick bite at High Tides Beach Bar, just steps from the ferry. Simply bring your bags with you and relax!

If you rented a jeep you will walk or taxi from the ferry to the jeep rental company.

If you rented our house jeep, it will be ready for you at the house. You’ll taxi to the house and your host will meet you there for your tour.
LATE NIGHT ARRIVALS: Check In is from 4pm - 8pm. If you arrive past 8pm, we’ll send you the lockbox code to get you inside for the night. We can then come back to say hello and answer any questions you may have the next morning.
